Багатовимірність поняття «хвороба» в контексті громадського здоров'я (частина 1 – теоретичне дослідження)

РЕФЕРАТ:
Мета. З позицій громадського здоров'я проаналізувати дані наукової літератури та термінологію, яка стосується різних іпостасей/проявів захворювань.
Матеріали та методи. Проведено аналіз вітчизняних та закордонних публікацій, присвячених термінологічним питанням оцінки різних сторін захворюваності населення.
Результати. Визначено стан досліджень щодо різних аспектів поняття «хвороба» у науковій вітчизняній та зарубіжній літературі. Огляд виявив брак теоретичних положень з даної теми, які можна було б узагальнити, порівняти та співставити. У повсякденній англійській мові використання понять, які описують нездоров'я (disease, illness, sickness тощо), часто є довільним, а в науковій є предметом професійних дискусій. Для України аналіз термінології щодо хвороби є новим. Позначення простору використання певних термінів важливе, оскільки вивчення різних аспектів хвороби передбачає використання різних методів збору інформації, трактування отриманих даних, висновків про шляхи подолання хвороби тощо. Визначення поняття «хвороба» - це не тільки теоретичне питання: воно важливе для медицини, соціальної політики та системи охорони здоров'я загалом. Для громадського здоров'я, яке є найбільш соціально орієнтованою галуззю медицини, вкрай важливим є врахування не тільки кількості біомедичних (disease), але й соціальних (sickness) аспектів хвороби, а також його самооцінки (illness). Розглянуто поєднання та взаємозв'язок різних проявів хвороби у тріаді Тведдла, проведено порівняльний аналіз її складових. Актуальність аналізу захворюваності населення та обгрунтування найбільш ефективних заходів обумовлює доцільність врахування різних проявів нездоров'я, а зважаючи на мультидисциплінарний характер охорони громадського здоров'я, –залучення спеціалістів різного профілю.
