Manuscript Submission Templates

The journal Environment & Health provides editable Microsoft Word (.docx) templates for preparing manuscripts. At INITIAL submission, authors must upload only TWO documents: ONE manuscript file corresponding to the article type, and ONE Cover Letter.

Document 1. Manuscript – choose ONE of the following templates

01. Original Research Manuscript

Contains an editorial author-information section with complete author names and affiliations, ORCID iDs, contact details and CRediT contributions; bilingual titles, abstracts and keywords; INTRODUCTION, OBJECTIVE, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS; required editorial declarations; and REFERENCES.

02. Review and Analytical Article Manuscript

Contains the same author information and declarations, as well as the review structure: objective or review question, literature search and selection methods, findings, critical appraisal of evidence, limitations, and conclusions. The template supports PRISMA, PRISMA-ScR, and other guidelines as applicable.

Document 2. Cover Letter – mandatory for every manuscript type

03. Cover Letter

Includes scientific novelty and scope alignment; confirmation of originality, no simultaneous journal submission, and approval by all authors; disclosure of preprints and related publications; and confirmation that the journal's policies have been reviewed. The template contains Ukrainian and English versions; authors retain only the version they will submit.

Important Before Submission

• Upload TWO documents through OJS: one of the two manuscript templates and the Cover Letter.

• Do not prepare a separate Title Page. All author names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, contact details, and CRediT contributions belong within the manuscript file.

• Do not prepare a separate anonymized copy. Editorial staff create the reviewer copy after initial screening; reviewers do not receive the author-information section.

• Replace all template prompts with accurate data. Do not retain sample DOIs, sample contact details, or invented references.

REFERENCES must be presented only in the Latin alphabet and Vancouver style; no separate DSTU 8302:2015 bibliography. Give verified DOIs on a separate line in the form https://doi.org/....

• Include FUNDING; CONFLICT OF INTEREST; DATA AVAILABILITY STATEMENT (mandatory for original research); DECLARATION ON THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI); and ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS where applicable.

• Include additional scientific materials as manuscript appendices or repository links where feasible; editorial staff may request separate materials later.

Following a Minor Revision or Major Revision decision, authors will be asked to submit a revised manuscript and a Response to Reviewers. These are not part of the initial two-document package.
